Rough distribution of weight in getting an admit from top B-school is 20-30% GMAT, 50-55% profile, 20% interview. Now of-course profile has the highest weight, but all the things of your profile are already there (your academics, your grad college and CGPA, work profile, diversity). The only controllable part in the profile is how you present it and how you write your story, SOP, LOR. And these parts are around 15-20% overall selection process
This is dependent on your starting point. From your starting point you can improve by 180 points in 3 months if you put 2 hours every day. So if you start at 500, it would take you 3 months to reach to a 700. You can reach even higher in another month or if your starting point is above 500
You should write your GMAT 2 months before deadlines of the colleges in any specific round. So let’s say you target R2 (which generally happens for most of the colleges in December then you should write GMAT by Oct.
Not at all. OG although is a very good source to practice. But it has very limited set of questions and also the content in OG is not structure properly for you to practice topic wise or according to your strength or weakness.
