Throughout the course, we will conduct special strategy sessions on specific GMAT topics such as Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, in an attempt to tackle 99%ile questions and ensure you are fully equipped to cope with the more advanced questions on the exam day.
Param sir was my GMAT verbal mentor. 4 months back, when I was looking for a tutor, I did not have much confidence on my verbal. Just after taking the first class with him, I got the confidence that I was definitely going to improve under his guidance. He started the prep from the very basics. He is well aware of all the verbal concepts that GMAT will test you on and he makes sure that the same knowledge is imparted to the kid. Sir made verbal look very logical to me. If I understood the basic concept well, there was very little chance that I was going to mess up the question in the exam. And once the concept was understood well, we did concept specific questions until I had nailed the concept well. Apart from being an SME, he provided a space to me where I felt comfortable asking doubts until the concept was crystal clear. My 2 hr sessions would turn into 2.5 hr sessions only because sir had to make sure that I understood everything well. Param is a great tutor for GMAT SC, and indeed an excellent partner to have during your GMAT prep. When I began working with Param in late Feb 2023, I was quite afraid of SC- especially because from my 1st attempt's ESR I knew that I needed to rely less on "my ear" and more on methodology, but I really did not like rote learning, which is what I expected GMAT SC to be. Cut to May 2023, when Param and I finished the SC coursework (which was completely tailored to focus on my goals and starting point), I was amazed to see how far I had come, how much better my approach was, and in turn my accuracy. And most of this happened without doing anything too special (especially no rote learning of grammar rules)- a simple review of the sessions we did together and then the question sets (yes, I really really delved deep into the why's and how's of each question, and Param was always happy to clarify)- infact we set up time within our sessions to discuss doubts and scenarios thoroughly which ensured that learning was not just on the surface. I would recommend Param to anyone looking to work on their Verbal skills, GMAT or otherwise. He added great value, and was very supportive of me and my ways of working throughout this journey. Gaurav sir was phenomenal for my growth in GMAT. He was stellar in improving my score from Q47(690) to Q50 (twice - 710, and 760). Even though I had an engineering background his guidance helped me change my thought process in quant. He is so good with quants that he would predict where (at what step) I made a mistake before I said anything about my approach just based on the time that I took and the actual answer that I got. That in and itself is mark of a very experienced tutor. In all of his classes he focused not only fundamentals of concepts, but also on finding out the most fastest way of solving a question.
